Introduction

Mount Laurel, NJ - December 11, 2025

Installation has commenced at 133 Kent in Brooklyn, NY, marking the first project to feature Shildan Group’s Fabrik+ in collaboration with Denvelops. This milestone underscores Shildan’s commitment to pairing design-forward solutions with high-performance building technologies and establishes a new benchmark for architectural screening systems.

Developed to blend art and engineering, Fabrik+ delivers a versatile approach to façade design and environmental performance. The system is engineered to manage solar heat, provide transparency control, and offer material flexibility. This enables custom patterns, textures, and configurations tailored to each project’s architectural intent.

“Fabrik+ allows architects to choreograph light, shadow, and texture with precision, while meeting real-world performance goals. Launching it at 133 Kent with Denvelops demonstrates how collaboration can elevate both aesthetics and function.” said Jen Marchesani, VP of Sales & Marketing at Shildan Group.

The Denvelops partnership strengthens the system’s modularity and detailing, with components that integrate seamlessly to simplify installation and enhance long-term durability. This first joint deployment at 133 Kent reflects coordinated design, supply, and field support across teams and vendors.

The project was designed by BKSK Architects, with SK Development serving as the developer.

Shildan’s broader product portfolio focuses on solutions that inspire beautiful, sustainable architecture and create legacy buildings that stand the test of time. With Fabrik+, Shildan adds a design-forward sunscreen system to its offerings, equipping architects with new tools to shape design aesthetic, envelope performance, and occupant comfort.
